Chapter III

Posted by Moonwind in

"Look at that Orkit!" insulted Kairi.

"She's fishing and swimming!" cried Kitty.

"Kits, she's not an Orkit, but she's an Orfish!" spat Katty.

With the last insult, Kairi threw the fish that she caught at Katty's face and ran away with a teary face.

"Badger-head!!" shouted Katty in annoyance. Kitty calmed her down by telling her that they got a free fish for lunch.

"The Orfish ran away without her prey!" chanted Katy.

Chapter II

Posted by Moonwind in

         "NO!"

Kairi woke up with a teary face. She had a nightmare of her father's death. The dream that she saw was horrible; she saw her father falling down a menacing pit. Behind him was a group of "Heartlesses" that brainlessly followed him. But there are two young Heartlesses that stayed behind. Their names, as she heard the others, are Biz and Diz.

"It can't be like that! It's not true!" cried Kairi.

Heavy rains and thunderclouds rolled in a moment later...

Sore Palatine Uvula

Posted by Moonwind in

This is so annoying! I can't swallow properly and I can't throw those thick-liquid yellow thing that comes out when you cough. Yesterday, I had a sore tonsil and it's fine today, but my uvula hurts now. Is this a bacterial infection or something? Anyways, this is just my shout out of my personal feeling and your are really lucky that I'm sharing it with you! Till next time! Sayanora!

(P.S: Sorry for the highlights. This is my personals, so I can do whatever I want!)

Chapter I

Posted by Moonwind in

Kairi sobbed quietly on her leaf bed. The three "Katties" have insulted her badly just because she's an orkit. The three "Katties" are Kitty, Katy and Katty. They are the worst kits who like to intice other kits to disturb Kairi.
"If only they had felt the sorrow..." whispered Kairi. Kairi's parents died tragically. Her mother was said to be killed while defending Kairi and the others; Kairi was the only litter that had survived. Her father on the other hand, sacrificed his body to lure the Heartless away. Eventhough her father died noble, nobody respected Kairi because they thought that Haku committed suicide because of Hikari's death.
"Well, I should throw the past anyways," Kairi encouraged herself, "it won't be proper for a kit like me to cry. I should go to sleep now. It's getting dark."

Through The Eyes of an Eagle

Posted by Moonwind in

Today is the last week of my stay in Oslo, Norway. Because it’s the last week, I decided to go hiking along the beautiful Norwegian fjords.

The day is amiable, with the sun shining bright and high. As I got out from the chalet to go hiking, an eagle gracefully swooped down on a squirrel not far beside me. I’ve always admired eagles; they are like dancers in the air, who moved swiftly and gracefully. I reminded myself about the present activity and set off to hiking.

The Norwegian fjords are like heavens on the earth. Its valleys are full of lush greeneries and fir trees. Only the tips of each mountain aren’t green. Some have brown tips, as if it was dusted with cocoa powder; the highest looked like it was dusted with fine sugar because of the snow. The lake has blue, icy, crystal-clear water. The water is so clear that it allows you to see the bottom of the lake and reflects your reflection at the same time! All of the sudden, I took a wrong footing, slipped and sprained my right knee. I lost all my hope of enjoying the great scenery of the fjords by hiking. Fortunately, I’ve got a great amount of imagination. What if I enjoy the scenery as an eagle, my brain thought. I then let myself to flow with my imagination.

As I opened my eyes, I realised that my feet aren’t touching the earth. My hands, more likely to be called “wings”, are flapping on the smooth air. It feels like swimming, but without the chances of drowning. I played with myself for a while and decided to continue my adventure.

I flew over the “crystal” lake and looked at my reflection. It seems really funny to look at your reflection in a wobbly mirror. I realised that the fishes swam away as I got nearer. It must have been really hard for an eagle to capture its meal. I ignored the panicked fishes and decided to explore the cocoa powder and sugar dusted mountains

The mountains are beautiful. I was wrong about the brown-tipped mountain. It’s actually brownish-green because of the small amount of grass that grew around. Then, I headed to the white-tipped mountain. My guessing about the white-tipped mountain was right. I decided to stop on the mountain to enjoy the view. I landed clumsily on my beak and, fortunately, was kept warm by my feathers. The view on top of the mountain was heavenly. Unfortunately, I left my camera with my human self. On the far horizon, the sun sets slowly; I decided to go back to my human self.

It was nearly twilight when I woke up. I stood up and, miraculously, my right knee had stopped torturing me. I ran back to the lake and snapped a picture; I returned back to the chalet later. I started packing my bag to go back to Abu Dhabi for my schooling next week. I just can’t wait to tell my friends about today’s experience.

Alice In WonderLand 3D

Posted by Moonwind in ,

I slept late last night.... Reason?? I watched Alice in Wonderland at Dubai Mall. Most of the thing that appears in that movie is "The Slaying of The Jabberwocky". Anyways, AIW gives me an advise. The advise is to "Think Of Impossible Being POSSIBLE!!". Like I've said, the movie is greatly stressed on the Jabberwocky and The "Frabjous Day". Although I'm a bit late in posting this, I'd rather like it if you've watched it. And here is a surprise!

 Jabberwocky

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! and through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

By the way, I'm going to put up Smile!!, a short story that I'm writing now, up. But it isn't proofread yet, so I hope that you all won't mind my mistake (I think an 8th grader like me should have really low mistakes!). Till next time!!

Poetry

Posted by Moonwind in ,

Poetry is one of the MOST important branch of literature. In poetry, some of the english words differs in spelling and pronunciation as to make the poem interesting and flow with the "sound" of the poem. There are different types of poems, and few examples are Ballad and Haiku. Both are my favorite type of poetry.
